Automated Production of 1220 × 1220mm Square HDG Water Tank Panels
Oudrey upgrades its automated production line for 1.22×1.22m galvanized water tank panels, improving efficiency, precision, and quality.
Recently, Oudrey Water Tank completed a major upgrade of its 1.22 × 1.22m square HDG water tank panel production line. The new production line adopts a fully automated manufacturing process, integrating multiple operations, including panel stamping, automatic material transfer, welding, and finished product stacking.
This upgrade further improves the production efficiency and product quality of modular water tank panels.
Fully Automated Processing for Improved Production Efficiency
The upgraded production line is equipped with CNC stamping equipment, automatic welding machines, and robotic collaboration systems. After precise positioning, steel plates are stamped using dedicated 1.22 × 1.22m panel molds. Robotic arms then automatically handle material transfer and welding operations.
Producing one water tank panel takes approximately 150 seconds.
Automated manufacturing not only improves processing efficiency but also helps maintain consistency in product dimensions, forming quality, and welding performance across different production batches. This provides a more stable supply of panels for large-scale modular water tank projects.

Precision Stamping and Consistent Welding for Better Panel Quality
Compared with traditional manufacturing methods, the automated production line enables better control over the panel forming process and welding operations.
The stamped water tank panels feature the following characteristics:
- Flat panel surfaces: Minimizing excessive stretching caused during the stamping process.
- Uniform panel thickness: Helping preserve the original strength of the steel plate.
- Consistent and continuous welding: Reducing welding defects such as incomplete welds and missed welds.
- Attractive X-shaped reinforcement ribs: Providing effective structural support while enhancing the panel’s appearance.
These characteristics influence more than just the appearance of the water tank. They also affect panel strength, sealing performance, and long-term operational reliability.
After stamping and welding, the steel panels undergo hot-dip galvanizing to enhance their corrosion resistance and improve durability in demanding operating environments.

Suitable for Various Large-Scale Water Storage Projects
The 1.22 × 1.22m square hot-dip galvanized water tank panels feature a modular design, allowing flexible assembly according to project capacity, installation space, and site conditions.
They are suitable for a wide range of large-scale water storage applications, including:
- Industrial water storage
- Fire protection water storage systems
- Domestic water storage
- Water supply for commercial and public buildings
- Water storage projects for factories and infrastructure facilities
