Expansion Project of Water Supply & Firefighting Storage System for Factory Building in Brazil
Brazil factory underground modular tank project completed, providing 912m³ fire and process water storage for plant expansion.
Just recently, our Brazilian customer’s composite underground modular water tank project has been successfully completed and installed. The project is part of a manufacturing plant expansion infrastructure development in Brazil. At the early stage of expansion, the factory required a synchronized solution for both production water supply and fire protection water storage systems. Due to limited ground space and the need for a clean and unified site layout, the client required a solution that would not occupy surface space while still providing large-capacity water storage.

Customer Requirements:
- Meet both industrial production water and firefighting water storage demands
- Save ground space and avoid affecting overall plant layout
- Adapt to high-temperature, high-humidity climate and long-term underground operation
- Short installation period to match factory expansion schedule
Solution
Based on the client’s requirements, we provided a composite underground modular water tank system:
- Tank Type: Composite underground modular water tank (buried installation)
- Structure: Galvanized steel panels + anti-corrosion composite protection system + segmented modular design
- Tank Size: 38m × 8m × 3m
- Total Capacity: 912m³
- Application: Industrial process water + fire-fighting water storage system
- Supporting Systems: Reinforced structural support system, inspection manholes, ventilation system, level monitoring system, and anti-leakage & anti-corrosion protection system
The underground installation design effectively frees up surface space while ensuring a clean and well-organized factory layout.

Project Advantages
1. Space-saving underground structure
All systems are installed below ground, saving valuable factory and road space, ideal for new industrial plant planning.
2. Dual-purpose water storage system
Provides both production water supply and fire protection storage, improving operational safety and reliability.
3. Adaptability to soil and climate conditions
The composite anti-corrosion design effectively resists Brazil’s high temperature, humidity, and underground water conditions, ensuring long service life.
4. High installation efficiency with modular design
Factory-prefabricated modules allow fast on-site assembly, significantly reducing construction time and aligning with plant expansion schedules.
5. Easy maintenance
Equipped with inspection manholes and ventilation systems for convenient long-term operation and maintenance.

Client Feedback
“The underground design is very suitable for our factory expansion plan. It not only saves space but also ensures stable water supply for both fire protection and production, which is critical for our overall construction.”
